Coats Disease - Before and After Treatment

Pre and post treatment photos, of a teenage boy, who had sector pan retinal photocoagulation for Coats Disease in the left eye. The first frame shows yellow exudates and lipid (black arrow), throughout the periphery. The second frame, two years post sector pan retinal photocoagulation (PRP), shows peripheral scarring from the laser with regressing lipid (yellow arrow). Note; the first picture is a standard color fundus photo, where as the second photo, is an optos color fundus, giving a wider view to the periphery.
