Choroidal Hemangioma - Indocyanine Green (ICG) Angiogram

In this photo, ICG dye rather than fluorescein dye has been injected into the patient's vein. This dye images the vessels in the choroid, the layer beneath the retina, better than does fluorescein dye. The large vessels within the choroidal hemangioma are well seen, as well as the more normal vessels of the choroid adjacent to the lesion.
