Congenital Simple RPE Hamartoma

This is a follow-up case of a 43-year old male patient with a simple RPE hamartoma. The patient was asymptomatic. The fundus photographs were taken 11 years apart. The size and shape of the black lesion is compared between the two pictures (blue arrows); it has not changed. The lesion blocks the imaging light producing the shadowing deep to the lesion (red arrows).
