Asteroid Hyalosis - Optos Color Fundus

80 year-old female, presenting for yearly follow up of a regressed choroidal melanoma in the right eye. In addition to the regressed melanoma in the right eye, the patient also has asteroid hyalosis; clumps of calcium that are in the vitreous. The optos color fundus photo picks up the dense field asteroids very well, with them glowing in a green. For reference points, the optic disc is shown by the black arrow, and the regressed melanoma in the macula is indicated by the blue arrow.
