Central Serous Retinopathy with Subfoveal Yellow Deposit - OCT
This OCT from a 33 year old man with a subfoveal yellow deposit shows a solid subretinal deposit, not the hyporeflective fluid collection typically seen in central serous retinopathy. It is possible that a subfoveal fluid collection was present at one time but has been resolving, leaving a more solid, inspissated collection of material more like what is seen in unilateral acute idiopathic retinopathy. The color fundus photographs and fluorescein angiogram of this case can be seen in the associated files with those labels.
