Coats Disease - Optos Fluorescein Angiogram and OCT
31 year-old Caucasian female, who presented for evaluation of a retinal mass in the right eye. Patient reports she has had this problem for the past 5 years with no intervention. Optos FA showed in the right eye macular scarring with exudative leakage throughout the periphery temporal to the optic nerve. OCT shows a subfoveal deposit with a large amount of edema temporal to the nerve. Bottom right image frame shows an uninvolved left eye. Due to the chronic condition, visual return will be limited, but scheduled for sector pan retinal photocoagulation.
