Angioid Streaks in Pseudoxanthoma Elasticum

These are fundus images of a 40 year old woman with pseudoxanthoma elasticum who complained of a blurred spot in her field of vision in the right eye. The visual acuity was 20/20 in each eye. Angioid streaks were present radiating from both optic discs (white arrow). Peau d'orange, a mottled appearance to the pigment epithelium, was seen temporal to the macula (yellow arrow). Pattern dystrophic pigment flecks were present in the maculas (red arrows). There was no choroidal neovascularization present on the fluorescein angiogram, but there was subretinal fluid in each macula (see the OCT images of this patient under Images).
