Congenital Achromatopsia - Visual Field
This is the 24-2 visual field of the right eye of a 65 year old man with congenital achromatopsia. He has had visual acuity of 20/100 for the 8 years that he has been followed and reports stable visual acuity for much longer. On the Ishihara Color Plates he correctly identified 1 of 15 plates with each eye individually. The color fundus photograph shows mild retinal pigment epithelial mottling bilaterally. The visual field shows a central scotoma best appreciated under the pattern deviation display. The fellow eye was similar. See the multifocal electroretinogram and the fundus photographs and SD-OCT under this topic. All of these studies belong to this same patient.
