Von Hippel - Lindau Syndrome, Fluorescein Angiogram

You should look at the Normal Fluorescein Angiogram first for comparison. This frame from a fluorescein angiogram shows the same retinal capillary hemangioma illustrated in the color photo (see the Photo listing). The hemangioma appears as a white round lesion as the fluorescein dye flows through the blood stream. A later frame would show the dye leaking from the lesion. Normal retinal blood vessels do not leak fluorescein dye.
