Blunt Trauma - Fist

This 19-year male presented with complaints of painful swollen left eye with sudden onset noted upon wakening. He denied trauma. Examination showed a normal right eye with 20/20 visual acuity and intraocular pressure of 9. On the left the eyelids were swollen and bruised. The visual acuity was 20/40. The intraocular pressure was 11. Slit Lamp examination showed; conjunctival injection. Funds examination showed vitreous hemorrhage (yellow arrow) and a peripapillary sub retinal hemorrhage (green arrow). Although the patient denied blunt trauma, exam findings were indicative of such an injury.
